- Watch a lot of movies. - See how others have done "it". - Spend time on your screenplay. - Surround yourself with talent. - Smaller crews are preferable. - If you can't buy it, build it. - High quality, low cost. - Recycle, reuse, repurpose. - It's about technique, not gear. - Distribute and market online. - Document everything. - Just make your damn movie.
It was at a an RC Willey department store. It was part of a 40" TV contest giveaway via the store, Facebook and the local CBS affiliate. After jumping through some hoops to register to win the big TV, you got a coupon for the little one.
We didn't win the big TV, but this little fellow should come in handy on location.
I haven't tried to mount it yet. I'm going to have to come up with something, due to the fact that all it comes with is a flip-out stand. There's not even a 1/4" screw mount which is standard on just about everything these days.
Wow, nice deal. Could prolly come up with (or make) a swivel/tilting mount and epoxy it to the back of it pretty easy I would think. Or even just a hook and loop.

RC Wiley has it for $40, but yeah, a bargain!
Do you have any photos of how you mounted this thing?
Would love to see a video review of it in use w/ a DSLR.

I'll definitely post whatever I can come up with.
